The Nitrogen Dilemma is a longform science communication website exploring one of the planet's most overlooked environmental crises: nitrogen pollution. Developed as a master's thesis at FH JOANNEUM, the project translates complex scientific content into a narrative web experience — combining custom illustration, data visualisation, and scrollytelling across several chapters. The work examines how visual design and interactivity can make environmental topics comprehensible and emotionally resonant for a general audience.
